Who we are
Our website address is https://mirielli.ca. Mirielli designs and builds custom wood range hoods in Cambridge, Ontario.
What personal data we collect and why
Contact and partner forms. When you send us a message or apply to become a trade partner, we collect what you enter — your name, email, phone number, business name and message — so that we can reply and keep a record of what was discussed.
Orders. When you place an order we collect your name, email, phone number and shipping address so we can build your hood, deliver it, and keep you updated along the way.
Trade accounts. If you sign in as a trade partner we store your email address and send you a temporary sign-in code. We do not store passwords.
Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s own secure page and are never sent to us or stored on our servers.
Cookies
Our site saves your shopping cart in your browser, and your sign-in session if you are a trade partner, so they are still there when you come back. That information stays on your device.
Google and Meta also set cookies through the advertising tools described below.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages include embedded content such as YouTube videos. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website, and those sites may collect data about you and set their own cookies.
Advertising and measurement
We use Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to measure whether our advertising works, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. These tools record your IP address, which pages you viewed, and whether you went on to place an order.

Who we share your data with
We share information with the companies that help us run the business, and only so they can do that job:
- Stripe — processing payments
- Google (Firebase and Google Ads) — hosting the website, storing orders, advertising
- Meta — advertising
- Resend — sending the emails you receive from us
We do not sell your personal information.
Where we send your data
Our website and order records are hosted on Google servers in the United States, and Stripe and Resend also process data there. Your information is therefore stored outside Canada, and may be accessible to authorities in that country under their laws.
How long we keep your data
We keep order records for as long as we need them to support your purchase, and for as long as tax and business law requires us to. Enquiries and partner applications are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards.
What rights you have over your data
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will act on those requests wherever we are able to. We cannot delete records we are legally required to keep, such as completed orders and tax records.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
